BioShock 2 was now available to purchase through Steam and all game features managed through it (achievements, multiplayer, etc). If you like it, then move to Bioshock 2 and Minerva's Den, and finally BioShock Infinite. Bioshock Infinite is mostly entirely independent of the first 2 so nothing that happens in it should affect what you think of 1/2. Then turn on Windowed Mode, then turn it off, after this set your desired resolution. A new Bioshock leaning heavily into immersive sim territory sounds great, but I ain't gonna hold my breath either. As a "spiritual successor" to System Shock it was a failure of the highest order.
